Born and raised in the Midwest, I have studied traditional art mediums during my time in college at Missouri State University. I love illustrating animals, game geekery, and storybook images. I also enjoy working on wood panels to find imagery within the wood grain, or incorporating the movement of the wood rings to enhance my work's appearance. Most of my work takes on a whimsical playfulness accompanied by detailed decoration and flowing lines.
Most of my time is spent painting cute pups and kitties for clients, maintaining my online shop ElaineintheMembrane, or painting various wood pieces for sale in local shops in my hometown, Springfield, MO.
